A New Interpretation for the Building H1 in the Archaeological City of Marina-El Alamein "Publishing for the First Time" رؤية جديدة لتفسير المبنيH1بمدينة مارينا العلمين الأثرية "نشر للمرة الأولى"

Marina-El Alamein is consider one of the most important ancient cities of Ptolemaic, which lasted to the Roman and Byzantine eras, located on Alexandria-Matrouh road about 94KM, and away from the new town of El Alamein at about 6km.                                  
Strabo first referred to Marina El Alamein site, when he described the cities located in the region between Marsa Matrouh (Praetonium) west of Alexandria, and then pointed out to Thagr- Derrihs (Marina currently) and this site was a port. It is worth mentioning that the plan of the city is Hippodamian, archaeological excavations revealed that the site have been for many different and diverse architectural elements, which dates back to Hellenistic and Roman eras, including cemeteries, as well as public buildings such as the baths, in addition to the forum, the Roman basilica and also multiple houses .
The Polish Center in Cairo Foundation in conjunction with the American Research Center in Cairo and the Egyptian Antiquities Authority has  been working on excavations in the region since 1980, when interest in the Northern Coast of Egypt arose and the appearance of some archaeological remains. But the mission work in the latter years preferred to carry out the restoration of the remains discovered without supplement excavations in the area.
This research aims to publish one of the city's buildings, which the mission in their reports described as house H1, but the architectural details are different from the discovered houses in the city, and what is had been told about this building in the reports is very scanty, and it is not published since it was excavated in a scientific study to show its importance and to compare it with similar models in Egypt or the Greek and Roman world, and try to identify what the use of this building.
کانت مدينة مارينا العلمين من أهم المدن الأثرية البطلمية والتي استمرت الي العصرين الروماني والبزنطي کذلک، وتقع منطقة مارينا العلمين الأثرية بين الکيلو 94 والکيلو 100 طريق إسکندرية- مطروح، وتبعد عن بلدة العلمين بحوالي ستة کيلو متر، ويحد موقع مارينا العلمين الأثري من الجنوب الطريق الرئيسي ومن الشمال بحيرة ضحلة العمق لا تزيد عن متر تقريباً ويحدها في کل من الشرق والغرب مدينة مارينا السياحية.
يعد "استرابون" "Strabo" أول من أشار إلى موقع مارينا العلمين، وذلک عندما وصف المدن الواقعة في المنطقة بين مرسى مطروح (براتينيوم Praetonium) غرب الإسکندرية، ثم أشار "استرابون" إلى ثغر دريس Derrihs (الجلد) وسميت کذلک بسبب صخرة قريبة سوداء تشبه الجلد (مارينا حالياً) وکان هذا الموقع بمثابة ميناء. وجديرٌ بالذکر أنه اتبع في تخطيط مدينة مارينا النمط الهيبودامي، وکشفت الحفائر الأثرية التي تمت بالموقع عن العديد من العناصر المعمارية المختلفة والمتنوعة والتي ترجع إلى العصرين الهلّينستي والروماني ومنها المقابر المتنوعة الطرز، بالإضافة إلى المباني العامة مثل الحمام، بالإضافة إلى الفوروم الروماني والبازيليکا وأيضاً المنازل المتعددة. وفي حقيقية الأمر أن مدينة مارينا الأثرية تعد نموذجاً فريداً لما تحمله من سمات المدينة المتکاملة والتي ترجع إلى العصر الروماني؛ حيث لم يوجد في مصر مدينة رومانية متکاملة مثل مدينة مارينا
وقد قامت مؤسسة المرکز البولندي بالقاهرة بالاشتراک مع مرکز البحث العلمي الأمريکي بالقاهرة بالتعارون مع هيئة الآثار المصرية في عمل حفائر في المنطقة منذ 1980 عندما بدء الاهتمام بالساحل الشمالي لمصر وبدء ظهور بعض البقايا الأثرية. الا أن أعمال البعثة في فترات تاريخية لاحقة فضلت القيام بأعمال الترميم لتلک البقايا المکتشفة دون تکملة الحفائر بالمنطقة.
يهدف هذا البحث إلي نشر أحد المباني المکتشفة بالمدينة والذي صنفته البعثة بأنه المنزل H1، ولکن تفاصيله المعمارية مختلفة عن المنازل المکتشفة بالمنطقة، وماذکر عنه لا يتجاوز سوي بعض المعلومات القليلة من خلال تقارير الحفائر فقط، ولم تخضع لدراسة علمية توضح مدى أهميته ومقارنته بالنماذج المشابهة في مصر أو العالم الروماني، ومحاولة التعرف على ماهية استخدام المبنى من خلال ذلک.
