الآثار المصرية القديمة في الأردن خلال الألف الثاني قبل الميلاد

يستهدف هذا البحث تقديم دراسة حول وجود الآثار المصرية القديمة  في الأردن بشكل خاص خلال الفترة بين حوالى 2000 إلى  1200 قبل الميلاد، فيما يوازي العصر البرونزي المتوسط (Middle Bronze Age) وحتى نهاية العصر البرونزي الأخير (Late Bronze Age). كما يقدم  الأسباب التي دفعت للتواجد المصري في  بلاد الشام بشكل عام،  إذ إنها تشكل خط الدفاع الأول عن مصر ضد الأخطار التي تتهددها من الشرق، أما الأسباب الأخرى فهي حاجة مصر لكثير من الخامات المتوافرة في بلاد الشام خاصة خامات النحاس في وادي عربة /الأردن، وخشب الأرز في لبنان؛ كذلك فإن الأردن يعدُّ معبراً للطرق التجارية التي تربط مصر مع بقية بلاد الشام. وبناء عليه، فقد ذكر كثير من المواقع الأردنية في السجلات والوثائق المصرية القديمة، كما ترك الملوك المصريون القدامى خلفهم كثيراً من الآثار  الفرعونية.
من هنا نجد أن التواجد المصري القديم  في الأردن كان له تأثير كبير في الحياة السياسية، والثقافية، والعمرانية والفنية في هذا البلد، وقد اعتمدت طبيعة العلاقة بين  مصر وبلاد الشام بشكل عام على مدى قوة مصر العسكرية، فنرى على سبيل المثال لا الحصر أن الملك تُحتمس الثالث (حوالى 1490 -  1436 قبل الميلاد)  من الأسرة الثامنة عشرة، وتبعه ملوك من الأسرة التاسعة عشرة من أمثال سيتي الأول ورمسيس بتجريد عدد من الحملات العسكرية على بلاد الشام، ومن ضمنها  الأردن.
This article discusses the presence of the Ancient Egyptian Archaeological remains dated to the period ranging from ca. 2000 to 1200 BC (Middle and Late Bronze Ages). This region constitutes Egypt's first line of defence against the dangers threatening it from the eastern borders. As for the other reasons, Egypt needs many natural resources available in the Levant, especially copper ores in Wada Arabah/Jordan and cedar wood in Lebanon. Moreover, Jordan is also a crossing point for the trade routes linking Egypt with the Levant. Accordingly, many Jordanian sites were mentioned in the ancient Egyptian records and documents, and the Egyptian kings left behind many Egyptian monuments in the Levant. Hence, we find that the ancient Egyptian presence in Jordan had a great impact on the political, cultural, urban, and artistic life. The nature of the relationship between Egypt and the Levant generally depended on the extent of Egypt’s military power. For example, Thutmose III (ca. 1490 – 1430 BC) from the Eighteenth Dynasty, followed by kings from the Nineteenth Dynasty, such as Seti I and Ramses II, conducted several military campaigns against the Levant, including Jordan.
