الملخص: في أكتوبر 2023م أعيد افتتاح المتحف اليوناني الروماني بالإسكندرية بعد إغلاق دام أكثر من 17 عامًا. شملت عملية إعادة الافتتاح أعمال ترميم وتطوير أضافت طابقًا إضافيًا وزادت عدد صالات العرض، ما سمح بعرض مزيد من القطع الأثرية المهمة والنادرة مثل تماثيل التناجرا، مجموعة آثار الرأس السوداء، آثار المحمرة، ومعبد الإله سوبك. ومن أبرز المعروضات لوحات فسيفساء فريدة تغطي فترة زمنية من القرن الرابع قبل الميلاد حتى القرن السادس الميلادي، معروضة بسياقات جديدة تحاكي البيئات الأصلية مثل المنازل الرومانية والكنائس البيزنطية. تسهم هذه اللوحات في إلقاء الضوء على تفاصيل الحياة القديمة والتطورات الفنية، وتم تقديمها بأسلوب علمي يضم معلومات دقيقة عن كل لوحة، بما في ذلك الأبعاد، الموقع، الوصف، والتقنية المستخدمة، إلى جانب المراجع والدراسات التحليلية. هذا العرض لا يدعم فقط الباحثين والزوار، بل يُعد خطوة مهمة لتوثيق التراث الثقافي وإتاحته للتطبيقات المستقبلية مثل الذكاء الاصطناعي والجولات الافتراضية. Re-exhibition, Study, and Publication of Some Mosaic Floors Displayed for the First Time at the Graeco-Roman Museum in Alexandria Abstract: In October 2023, the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria was reopened after being closed for over 17 years. The reopening process included restoration and development work that added an extra floor and increased the number of exhibition halls. This allowed for the display of more important and rare artifacts, such as the Tanagra figurines, the Black Head collection, the El-Mahmoudiya artifacts, and the Temple of the god Sobek. Among the most notable exhibits are unique mosaic panels that cover a historical period from the 4th century BCE to the 6th century CE. These mosaics are presented in new contexts that emulate their original environments, such as Roman houses and Byzantine churches. These panels help to shed light on details of ancient life and artistic developments, and they have been presented in a scholarly manner, including precise information about each panel, such as dimensions, location, description, technique used, and references and analytical studies. This presentation not only supports researchers and visitors, but also represents an important step in documenting cultural heritage and making it available for future applications like artificial intelligence and virtual tours.
