العلاقة بين المعبودين "أبيدماك" و "بس" في المعتقدات المروية

حفلت منطقة وادي النيل بالعديد من المعبودات التي آمن بها الناس وعظموها، وجعلوا لكل منها قدرات، ومع ذلك فهنالك ما هو مشترك من الصفات والأشكال بينهم، "أبيدماك" هو معبود كوشي محلي، ظهر في وقت متأخر في عهد مملكة مروي، بُنيت له العديد من المعابد في المواقع المختلفة، تم تصويره على شكل أسد أو جسم إنسان برأس أسد، وظيفته أنه معبود للحرب ورمز للسلطة الملكية...إلخ.
بينما كان "بس" بصفة عامة من المعبودات المنزلية الشعبية، يأخذ شكل قزم قبيح ذو أنف أفطس وله معرفة وذيل أسد، إرتبط هذا المعبود بالعديد من الوظائف، منها أنه مرتبط بالمرأة وخصوبتها، وبحماية الأطفال وغيرها، أخذ شكلًا ومكانة واضحة في العبادة المروية، حيث وجدت له مخلفات في المواقع المختلفة.
وقد اتضح من خلال هذه الدراسة أن هنالك علاقة قوية وواضحة بين المعبودين، لم يتم ذكرها في أي مصدر من قبل، فهنالك شبه مظهري ووظيفي واضح يربط بين المعبودين، مما يوكد ذلك على وجود مشاهد وتماثيل للمعبودين معاً في العديد من المواقع المروية.
The Relationship between the Two Deities "Apedemak" and "Bes" in the Meroitic Beliefs
 
Abstract:
The Nile Valley region was filled with many gods that people believed in and worshipped, and attributing different powers to each of deity. However, there are some characteristics and shapes similarities between them.
"Apedemak" is a local Sudanese deity, appeared late in the Meroitic Kingdom. For whom many temples were built in many archaeological sites. Its appearance is as a lion or a human body with a lion's head. Functions as a god of war, a symbol of royal authority…Etc.
 Bes considered as a popular household deity, an ugly, snub-nosed dwarf with the mane and tail of a lion. Associated with women and their fertility, the protection of children, and others. It took on a clear form and place in worship in the Meroitic period, as its remains were found in many sites.
 It has been revealed through this study that there is a strong and clear relationship between them, although it has not been mentioned before.  There are a physical and functional resemblances, reinforced by the presence of scenes and statues of each of them next to the other in many Meroitic sites.
